Aspire Speech and Learning Center’s COVID precautions to protect our patients and help slow the spread of the Coronavirus.
- All staff comply with the CDC’s and State of California’s vaccination requirements for healthcare facilities.
- Office seating in the waiting room and in therapy rooms has been arranged to encourage appropriate physical distancing.
- Our staff will always wear a mask, and/or face shield, and use physical barriers, in sessions unless speech modeling is hampered.
- We ask all clients to wait in their cars or outside until 5 minutes before their appointment times to reduce the number of people in the waiting area.
- Office staff maintains safe distancing.
- All clients are screened using a questionnaire and will wear a mask in all public areas of the office.
- Restroom soap dispensers are maintained, and everyone is encouraged to wash their hands.
- Hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol is available in the therapy rooms, and the waiting room.
- We schedule appointments at specific intervals to minimize the number of people in the waiting room.
- Entrance, exit, and traffic patterns in the office are designed to reduce the frequency of passing someone in the hallway.
- Pens, door handles and other areas that are commonly touched are thoroughly sanitized after each use.
- Tissues and trash bins are easily accessed. Trash is disposed of on a frequent basis.
- Common areas are thoroughly disinfected at the end of each day.
