We’re proud to introduce a new way for you to get to know the wonderful speech therapists and academic tutors at Aspire Speech & Learning Center!

Aspire Talks is our new video seminar series now available on our YouTube Channel. Each month, we’ll be releasing a new talk hosted by one of our speech therapists or academic tutors.  We’ll be covering topics of interest to parents and professionals in speech- and education-related areas!

Our first talk, “Demystifying Dyslexia,” presented by Kathryn Wage, explains the ins and outs of dyslexia, and how parents can play an active role in improving their child’s reading skills. In addition, Kathryn discusses how dyslexia’s medically-based history has made it slow to be recognized by educators and school administrators.

If you don’t have time to view the full seminar, check out the Aspire Quick Takes for this seminar on our Facebook page! The Quick Takes are bite-sized parts of the seminar that provide excellent, focused information.
